Whichever Vet you use could you, and anyone else who uses a Vet this year, please give as many relevant details as possible to help other MHF members find a recommended Vet and the Vet info will be updated to the Map.

The link to Keiths map is essential. Before we saw that we have paid as much as 52 euros for the vet before returning. Recently we paid 10 euros with a choice of dates !!!.. (seriously)

 That's a bit steep ?? :DMine charged me 3€ last summer ....................for the tablet. Filling in, dating & timing, stamping & encapsulating foc.:)

As an aside on one French list of vets I saw last year one was down as 100€ with appointment , 200€ without .o_O:LOL:

We use the one opposite the aire in Honfleur whenever we're there or passing. I know she's the most expensive vet in the world but that's a secondary concern. One of my dogs really hates vets, no reason for it, no negative experiences, he's just decided he doesn't like them. Even with our local vet who he's known since he was a puppy he panics but with Mme Letisse he's fine, he seems to like going to see her. For me a happy dog is worth paying the extra every time.

We used the vet in Neufchatel en Bray. They were brilliant. We paid about 15€ per dog including the tablet and they got a thorough health check too. We stayed at the new paid Aire beside the campsite there and were very impressed. Would definitely return. It takes about 3 hours to get to Calais from there.

There is a decent vet at Ardres 50 Impasse Bourgelat. Rue Dez Moulines, veto@.wanadoo.fr.
phone +33 3 21 35 40 03
They speak English and the vets are very pleasant to deal with. There is a very large area for parking which is unrestricted as it at the end of a private road.

Update on vet at Rue. 30/3/2016 cost €34.50 including tablet for Westie (10kg) although lady with a Labrador was quoted same. Did the lot including a physical checkover on the spot, although normally only do this in the afternoons apparently. Good English spoken and fully conversant with Pet Passport scheme.

Only 10 mins from aire at Le Crotoy, just after roundabout into Rue on left opposite Lidl.
