Getting at dashboard items (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how the dashboard comes to bits, I want to replace the current 12v socket with one or two Hella type, but cannot find how it comes apart.
The MH is a Rapido on a sprinter 316.
I know they usually have a bit that pulls off which reveals screws which enable you to get off the next bit and so on until you've got to the bit you want.
I can't even find the first bit.

Anyone know how it's done?

I would have thought that should be able to be removed without any dismanteling but then I`m not familiar with Sprinters so I should keep my nose out probably.

I can't believe that you'd have to recover the gas from the A/C system. It'd be far cheaper to install them elswhere as additions if that is the case.
