Hi Guys,

We are bored already and are wanting to bugger off in the MH for a few days over new year. Im looking at West Wales around the Aberystwyth or New Quay area (give or take 50 miles or so!!)

Does anyone know of any open sites near the beach that allow dogs?

Many thanks

Paul

There are some lovely places but are you taking kids as well as dogs? Some very nice places but not all are great for me youngsters.

We are in Dolgellau since Christmas Eve and my God is it raining and blowing we were woken by some weird noises coming from the awning, one of the privacy room beams had come loose so come 5am we were taking everything down and stowing it, but we are still off to Barmouth today not giving in to a bit of rain just might need an op when we get home to separate our toes again which have become webbed. The campsite is called Tanyfron, the facilities are good and the town is a short walk and has some very nice entries and pubs.

There is a car park on Borth sea front. I can't remember seeing a barrier there.

Camping On The Farm site at Aberaeron...lovely little site with all the amenities, but also only a 6 minute walk into the town , with its lovely pubs & eateries:xThumb::xThumb:

If you get time try "The Feathers" it's at the bottom of the park, we had a 1st class meal there in the summer, worth a visit. x
