Blue light in awning,door lamp question (1 Viewer)

Can anybody tell me what a little blue light in my awning, entrance, lamp is for.
Can only see it when lamp is switched off inside.
Been meaning to ask for months.

Alarm not set, it's on now. Just a tiny blue light, no sensor or anything in the lamp. Not that posh ere

I've got a right bee in my bonnet now over it, I can't find any mention of a remote in paperwork, but later will try arming alarm from outside and see what happens to it

Funnily enough I noticed a tiny blue light in our car only a couple of days ago - we've had the car for 5 years and this is the first time I've noticed it! Asked hubby what it was and he said that it's so you can see some of the controls when it's dark (like radio controls and heater knobs), and sure enough once it got dark I could see that it illuminated this area.
Maybe so you don't go A over T when entering the van in the dark? Let us know what you think.
