I know somefolk in here watch telly in their campers but this takes the biscuit.

In a lovely bar in shaded area outside and a couple just turned up and asked for the wifi code. Then popped out their tablet and now happily watching some quiz show which sounds like hosted by Bradley Walsh.

2 folk asked them to turn it down. They refused so owner came out and told them to

We never quite get the whole telly thing while on hols. Don't watch a lot at home and the last thing we want to do when we're away is to stare at the gogglebox. Just love to chat, observe, play games, read, socialise, slurp on the wine and take in the atmosphere.

It's not my cup of tea, but if it makes people happy.....So long as they enjoy their TV without infringing other people's peace and quiet

That sounds like The Chase. A simple general knowledge quiz but with an entertaining format, I'll confess to being a big fan.

But I doubt I'd be doing what they did.

Life would be so boring if everyone was the same. My wife is watching the tv I am on fun we have spent the afternoon having a few beers in a bar in Benidorm. Every one to their own. If someone rocked up with a tv on their tablet I would have just found another bar if it disturbed me.

If they were on holiday, perhaps they were just relaxing, which to them meant watching a bit of telly...
Perhaps they work so hard at home they don't get the chance...
So if they're happy - what's the problem?

However, I agree its inconsiderate to play it too loud in a public place...
And refusing to turn the volume down when asked nicely, until told by owner = tosspot .
