This afternoon I made this Stollen. It is not as sickly sweet as Stollen can be. I used the recipe from Hobbs House Bakery and it really is easy (however note the error on the video...... should be 460g of flour!)........

Yummy, like a bit if stollen cake, normally get mine from LIDL at this time of year.

I only like the marzipan really .

Ah, well you might not like this stollen as it only has 80g of marzipan (which is why my wife likes it as she does not like too much marzipan!) :)

Probably, but as I very rarely bake or eat sweet stuff it was a rare treat. I probably O.D'd the cream in the custard we had with it too, if your gonna do it, do it right:RollEyes:

We've just had some Waitrose "Heston" stollen bites delivered to the office - will test them later.
