I need to replace my tyres on my Pilote A class, the current ones are Michelin agilis 235/65R16. I want to have camper tyres as I believe they have stronger side walls. Unfortunately I can only find 225/R16 camper tyres. Would I notice much difference in the narrower profile?

Have you got the same load rating in the smaller size?

Guys, if you want a considerably quieter ride, with considerably more grip, go for Hankooks.
They just show the Michelins up for what they are ( extremely old technology ) and the Conti's for the everlasting no grips they are

You want 10 ply tread and at least 8 play walls

OK Jaws you have my attention, which model is suited to motor homes. For a budget tyre they are in the same price range as Michs and Contis.

How did you get on @FJmike ?

Can anyone advise how much the reinforced camping tyres (Michelin Agilis camping) reduce tyre wall flex in cornering situations and if they reduce the sway when passing or being passed by HGV's.

I went for Hankooks in the end, after a few hundred miles they seem to be slightly better then the Agils as they don't feel so harsh

I change the tyres on my van for all season Hankooks RA10, a lot of vibration through the van at first, by 500 miles they had settled down and had them re-balanced at a 1000 miles they are fine now.
