My best tip, for anyone new that asks, is to tell them, Before starting a trip, if it's meant to be full, fill it. It is meant to be empty, empty it! That way what ever happens you'll be able to cope with it.

Our inaugural abroad we arrived back at the French port thinking that we only had a short trip from Plymouth to Brixham about and hour when we landed. Consequently full loo, little or nothing in the fridge, no water and a full grey tank. Lyn Me and three (only three in those days) little boys
