Hi all,
Are there any insurance recommendations out there? We used Staveley Head for the past year but apparently the company they used to underwrite it don't insurance motor homes anymore. Their renewal with another company is almost double what we paid last year.
Thanks in anticipation and best wishes for all your festive travels.
Merry Christmas to all

Comfort. We've been with them for 6 years. This year our (new) home insurance provider attempted to better them and failed. We're paying £389 inc European breakdown cover.

Just shop around, the same as with any insurance.

We're also with Comfort this year. They beat the renewal from my previous insurer by nearly £500.

We tend to change between Comfort and Safeguard (whoever is cheapest at renewal time) - similar policies including european breakdown.

Currently paying circa £400

Getting better month by month.
Quote from Safeguard was really good - Brand new to MH ing, brand new MH and no NCD etc, asked Caravan Guard and they beat it. Happy days!! Don't advise checking on Compare websites as many; for me anyway, would't offer a quote. Just ring around the numbers on this site. Good Luck

Safeguard they offered me £75 cash back for new business as I changed Motorhome and had a gap between the two so got it for around £320 including European and breakdown and trailer.

Caravan Guard wouldn't quote me, they don't like low lifes who import their own vehicles.

The were pretty good with mine last year when it was new. No claims, nothing changed over the year but the renewal quote was ridiculous.

Not had my renewal yet from Saga but last year was £155, comfort just quoted for new business £274.
I don't think they will be getting my insurance.
Will wait for Saga then say C.C. will beat by £25.
