Just had tomorrow morning start cancelled . How anybody with a young family and mortgage copes I do not know, and they want you to be in these company pension schemes ! Some benefit to being old, haha

I take it you are on a zero hours contract? I don't think a lot of people can get a mortgage which is why so many foreigners hold UK property.

Yes, it must be hard for the younger ones, some even have rolling contracts which I guess is as close to a full time job as you get now days.

im on a contract job, normally renewed every 3 months.
i am told about 1 month before if it will be renewed or not.
if not , then normally another site is offered to me, having the rv means i can work where ever. been doing this sort of work for 10 years now and touch wood, never had a problem.
lots of work out there, its just a matter of getting the right contacts, and that can be difficult to find
