More than toes wet now!
Use them when we're using the van, Sandra, but not when we've got it parked up in the drive.

We have an old set which goes on for overwinter parking in the garden.
Keeps the cab frost free.
In summertime we just close the curtains.
Both save fabrics from sunlight damage.

Using an external screen at this time of the year drastically reduces condensation on the windscreen. Without one I have to use a large towel to soak up the overnight condensation.

when we do park up for the few weeks over Jan - March then we use our external silver screen. it does help keep the inside a little more stable in temperature. thus keep condensation to a minimum.

newbie from caravan - 5yrs now
we always put ours on when parked at home to keep condensation down and the warmth in -
or relative warmth - have an oiled filled radiator in there in winter to keep the chill off - around 6 degrees C on thermostat.
if you can - why wouldn't you in my opinion.

Ive got a set i used on the old van that do actually fit .Could put them on when not in use. I have new silver screens which i beleive are not designed as a permanent fixture.

Use ours when we're using the van but not when it's on the drive. Reason. . We don't need the insulation and there is no condensation when we're not living in there so why bother. The heatings on gently and all is good.

As GJH, Gellyneck and sdc77.
We use screens when using the van, not when we're not.
