We have recently finished our self build, designed to carry our blackbird its taken a while with a year out while the wife underwent cancer treatment but after a few outings its proving worth while, based on a 2.5td transit disabled bus gives us a spacious interior while the wheelchair lift on the back has been converted to lift the bike, not overly fast but who cares the bike can take care of that she returns over 40 to the gallon, she has a good sized double at the rear plus a single bunk over the front seats for our young grandaughter, good sized kitchen, and loo and shower, twin solar panels on the roof keep two large domestic batteries charged backed up with a 4kw inverter, heating is by enerspacher, there is a air con unit on the rear roof, theres not a lot of room in the back when the bikes in but at least it cant move and she still falls within the plated weight

hard to tell from pic but it may be on a twin wheel chassis so in with half a chance?... but as I suspected that's a pretty heavy bike?

I reckon that van should be ok with the Bird in it.. There are loads of similar rigs being used by other Bird owners that I know of :)

And yup, gotta be a twin wheeler or else it has the wrong wheels on the back LOL !!

Brilliant. You are number two I think, Yorick has been doing the same for a few years now. Except he's has a gixxr.
