Just starting to get the hang of this motorhome lark we are thinking of having 4 weeks leave next summer commencing 11 July and trying Greece .Anyone have any suggestions on travelling time to Venice or one of the other Italian ports and best way to book ferry to Greece > quite fancy Kefelonia visited last year on a cruise and its lovley.Mind you dont fancy revisiting Albania which we did last year on the same cruise.

any suggestions on travelling time to Venice

BTDTGTTS

We stopped Metz, Luzern, Monza, Venice without killing ourselves. So about 4 days. You could make it 3 if you wanted to press on.

We did Kefelonia on a floatilla holiday years ago, hell of a holiday. Did the closest you could do to this in a MH this year with Desert Detours and that was just as successful because of the route and the excellent company.

Hi Coroner

There was an article on visiting Kefalonia in last months (June) edition of MMM which may be of interest to you.

A Woosh bang
Greece is becoming increasing popular as Spain becomes more expensive and motorhome unfriendly, but I would rather drive there rather than use a ferry from Italy .. Is there any reason why this is not more popular or is it just the distance and time constraints when you only have a few weeks, has anyone driven the whole route?
