I have a thetford fridge that runs for anything from half an hour to five hours on gas then the blue light starts flashing on the display it shows error code 9 and a spanner. I then switch it off for 20 mins then it works again any ideas whats causing this

Hi

error code 9 is flame failure, this could be due to loss of gas pressure caused by a faulty gas regulator or a fault with the flame detector or it's associated electronics

Check the regulator first by lighting all the burners on the stove, if they stay alight then the regulator is ok

Has is been serviced recently ? It may only need cleaning/adjusting but if unsure a visit to a dealer is advised.
