It insurance renewal time for me, and ringing arround I found this......

Comfort who I'm with now wanted £317

All of the others that I tried, from MMM adverts where around the same price.

But Saga wanted £234. that s saving of £83. or about 30%

The cover was the same, more or less from all the companies, the main point being...

12 month cover in Europe
AA recovery assist
£200 excess
7 year old van. full NCB.

Does any one know a better offer?

dont think anyone beats saga. i used to be with them but when i claimed they then realized what a fifth wheel motorhome is n sorted the claim but said they wont be insuring a 5er next time. shame they are very helpfull n i can reccomend them highly. their m,home policy is probably the best on the market .:thumb:

Sounds like a very good deal.
One question if I may - was the AA cover just for the UK or was Europe included? I'm currently with Safeguard where Europe Assist is automarically included.

been getting quotes this weekend and saga was cheapest @ £224, breakdown cover is UK only but upgradable to Europe. NFU wa next @ £227 and given there is not much to choose between them I'm not sure which one to go with? Anyone got experience of claims with either of these?

Hi try caravan guard they are ok for me re cover and uk/euro breakdown dont know if they can better th premium but worth a try. Peter:thumb:

The AA cover is for all of Europe, Safeguard was one that I checked out.
