Am i right in saying that the Al-ko click fix steadies are designed to not only stabilise but also to level the van up ?. This is what the information leads me to believe. Also they are priced at £375 or there abouts, anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

I have just googled "Al-ko click fix steady legs" and the information seems to imply that they can be used to level the MH.

Try going on to the web site and finding their contact details and asking them for the information you require.

but see no reason why not, they are mounted on the main beams of the Al-Ko chassis

We have them on our Carthago and have only used them once.
Would be useful to know if you can use them to level the van though.
I'll watch this thread with interest.

I was told that the ones on our Carthago were only for steadying
They have little reach and only just touch the floor
We had them removed when we had our hydraulic levellers fitted

I have a similar product that came off a Dethleffs low line.
They will lift the van body within the suspension travel but would be hard pushed to raise the wheels too. I paid about £150 on ebay from memory, brand new removed by owner.

I've never actually tried to level with them as most times it's the nose that's low..

but that makes sense..
Mine use a 17mm socket unlike corner steadies that use 19mm. I found a purpose made 350 long x17 that goes in the battery drill

Brilliant. I've got these but can't find a crank (is that what they are called?) to twizzle it. Now what I need to figure out is with the self levelling air suspension, do I level then stabilize or vice verse?

I have them on my Hymer and use a caravan steady winder type thing.
Just looked at winder and its Alko with a 19mm socket.
