AS Coventry Ladies Folding Electric / Pedal Assist Bike (1 Viewer)

26" Ladies folding frame electric with pedal assist bike as new condition made by AS bikes Coventry, it has the 36v / 10 amp battery with rear rack ....10kgs

I paid £800 but they are now £925 would like £700

Location is Portugal

Selling as feel it is too big for me and never ridden a bike much and think a smaller size would be better for me

Hi Champers, we can see you have not used it much as its like new.

It looks quite small to me, might want the handlebars down a bit, you say you want something smaller BUT if the bike is actually shorter and smaller wheels it will get twitchy and be less easy to ride than the one you have.

Hi Kath, 26 inch wheels are fine the point I was making was that a shorter bike with smaller wheels would not be as stable as the one you have. I see that the handlebars are fixed so if you wanted them down it would be a hacksaw and welder job.

You could always replace the handlebar stem with a shorter one, a lot more cost effective than replacing the bike.

Ask Peter for the bars and stem from the earlier model
They go pretty much all the way down so they are almost level with the saddle.
I asked for the change when I bought my 26" wheel model and he supplied the kit FOC, but you know him and no matter what he will only charge a pittance for the replacement kit

Love my AS bike..... yes, it is heavy but the ride is so comfortable, I found it better (more comfortable) that many e-bikes that are much more expensive.

Just goes to show that you need to try before you buy.

Thank you for the encouraging words... Thank you John for the info had no idea about that, we will email them and ask if they can help with that...
Definitely a lovely bike we may try and turn the handle bar around ?? temporarily and see if that is any better for me

You might laugh...but that's exactly what I did to Ginny's Prorider, two inches off the saddle stem and it made the world of difference for her .

If you do ultimately decide to sell the bike check the weight - it cannot possibly be only 10kg!

Well seems turning the handles around did the trick, I was able to ride the bike this afternoon but will see if I can get the kit that John (Jaws) mentioned

I also had a different saddle put on mine. A local bike shop had a saddle clinic where they measure your "sit bones" (you sit on memory foam and the measure the bum imprint)

I thought they would tell me I needed a super expensive saddle but instead they recommended a less than £20 saddle and not the £100+ they could have said. It's made a huge difference
