Many thanks! One flew over me while I was climbing a hill in the Lake District yonks ago. It felt like I could have reached up and touched it.

There are a lot of similiar images on twitter if you follow the Red Arrows.

Very sad but time for something else to get the funding now.

I've seen her 5 times this year and loved every minute.

So sad she is now reduced to fast taxi runs.

There's a Shackleton in the works, a team building a mosquito and then the wishful thinking but very well funded Concorde team to get behind now.

Not a chance of getting a victor flying ( unless you are called Bob prothero) but it would be as good as the Vulcan.

The yanks used to go out of their way to refuel from them in the gulf war

Doesn't seem like two minutes since I remember them being painted in South Atlantic grey at Marham. Mind you, the Vulcan display flight with XH558 was around shortly after too.

Where do our lives go?

What a shame she wasnt rolled and to hell with the CAA!

So sad to see her go.

Victor to the sky anyone?

The Victor was manufactured in Radlet which is just a couple of miles from where I live in Watford. I can remember them taking off from their runway which ran parallel to the road. Real nostalgic aircraft. Love that clip when it inadvertently took off. Great story by the only remaining pilot.
