No hearsay but a direct report
Des and Donna just got back from Germany / Italy.
On the way home they were stopped by the German motorway police and were weighed
Des pooped it a bit as he knew he had a full water tank, full diesel and he had three slabs of beer on board
They weighed the front, weighed the rear and were informed they were 100 kilos over in total
The officer smiled and said that although they were over it was so little they were fine, and waved then on.

The motorhome is a 2007 Roller Team ( 625 I think ) rated at 3500 kilos

No idea but I will ask when I next see them.

Des did say the officer was very courteous and smiled quite a bit.. At no time did he ask to look in the van at all
