Carioca 656 - awning skirt (1 Viewer)

Hi just purchased the above van - it came with a safari room (will have to work out how to put it up!! Lol) there is no under body skirt - before I purchase one I cannot see how it is fixed - do they not slide in a rail? If so I cannot see where!

there is no awning draft skirt rail on the 656 nor many other motorhomes. you will either need to fit a rail yourself or find another method of fitting.

Make up some short poles and staple (wooden)or sew them into the skirt and just push them into the ground. If you view most caravans they have a rail track fitted rather like the slide in slot in the awning front which a skirt will slide along if beaded

Google "awning rail" or search eBay. Most decent accessories suppliers have it too. There is more than one section (x-section) so view all before deciding what you need.
