You might also have a very, very close look at the real life payload...........

We were impressed with the layouts & features of the Benimar when they relaunched them (we would like them as similar to our Chausson :)) but did notice not much payload, had concerns about the shell construction & warranty plus a bit overpriced despite the UK features. With only one dealer group Marquis as sole UK distributor no competition so no deals to be had :(

Not a fan then?
Indifferent, like to think impartial as had it for a month long trip to Spain, enough time to make a decent opinion. It was hired by an insurance company for me as their clent wrote of mine:(

There are a lot better made vans around....I did say it was years ago though.

I think they have improved a bit since then, though. They seem decent enough, but the footnotes on the spec sheet tell me all I need to know. The four berth ones are totally impractical unless you uprate to 4250kg and have a useable payload

Just looked at my bed controller no signs of overheating key wires well away from board components

alteration what I have done
removed wheel from wardrobe and blocked back off
new shelving in bottom cupboard for cloths
put strap on bathroom door to stop hitting fridge
put striker plate for bathroom door
taken battery from under passenger seat
and put two battery's underseat compartment (extra power for bed )
installed 140w solar panel
Put stops on draws so does not hit fridge when opening
had a scooter rake installed for Honda 125
adjusted the bed so I can know put the safety seat belt on and bed was also crocked so had to alter the lifting seat belts
Put insulation in above cab
Resealed around bathroom shower tray and above bathroom cubical
