:) Bill says We take to much stuff when we go away and I must agree with him . When we stayed on a site a few weeks ago the people who were next to us commented that they had never seen so much stuff come out of a van and that was before we actually got the Tandam out lol .So we intend to declutter slightly but where to start we use and need everything or do we ?

Do you carry anything "just in case"? & do you ever use it?

We were shocked at how much we carried when we were changing caravans many years ago, the dealer offered to lend us a trailer for all the extra stuff we had! We now only carry what we actually use, if it's not been used for 6 months out it goes.

Good luck with your decluttering, let us know how you get on.

I'm afraid to admit that for me it is the TV. I like to travel all year round even if only for a few days at a time and during the long nights of winter I enjoy the telly.

Living the dream.
We actually sat pondering this question while away in Jocklandshire a couple of weeks ago and I'm very pleased to say were not carrying anything we haven't used or need, so if we like many others are a tad overweight, bugger.:LOL:

A Woosh bang
I enjoy cooking so tend to take too much cookware and cooking accessories , I like my cooking toys..
but you don't need 3 different size frying pans, a full set of pots, casseroles etc etc .. so have cut it down to the bare minimum ..

also crockery.. we used to carry enough for a six place table setting.. and enough glasses to stock a small pub. Tea cups and saucers, coffee cups, mugs etc .. all been cut down..

we are three, so it's three of everything... so if you come calling, bring your own mug or glass. (y)

Living the dream.
My wife doesn't carry money. She thinks it appears magically from strange holes in the wall whenever I put my card in.
Haha, since I was made redundant I am a house husband and Mrs Badknee is the card carrier in our family (y)

I've managed to get Angela down to two frying pans but that's it. I like my nether regions exactly where they are thank you very much.

I refuse to cook during holidays (this will change of course when I go fulltiming) so most of my cooking tools are extra. A single pan and a frying pan are enough But I do take a few of my favourite tins. Not many though.
I would need sunglasses, otherwise can't drive, also my reading ones , a map (or more than one), deffo credit card, Phone, paper and pencil (I can't do without, I'm not a computer person), and my breakfast bowl!
