I experimented with my tyre pressures a while ago and run much lower than the van manufacturer recommends. At their pressures the ride was harsh and the van jumped around a lot on poor roads, noise levels were high as well. I slowly reduced the pressures until the noise went down, the bouncing eased and the handling improved. The pressures were still a little higher than the table shows at 3.5 front and 3.75 rear. I think I'll try the pressures stated by Continental and see how I get on.

I'm still a tad higher than table shows...

But haven't road tested yet :)

Thanks for that, useful tool, agrees close enough with what I am running on 121 load rated Conti fourseasons.

very handy im slightly suprised theres no difference between rear and front wheel drive

My guess is.... It's all about load... And drive equates to wear only.. :)

Our MH manual states the pressure recommended for our James Cook / Sprinter 3500kg; 41 front, 65 rear. It came with Vancos fitted. I always keep them at that pressure, even have a 12v compressor.
I have just replaced all four tyres after some 98,000 miles / 11 years!

Continental do a booklet which covers all their tyres although it isn't the most user friendly document. I dropped my tyres down to 3.5 bar and the ride is much better than it was before, when I just used the pressures published in the 'van handbook.
