Recently had an interesting lesson in WiFi interference.
Went to daughters for a few days & grand children complained that we interfered with their WiFi whenever we parked on their drive.
Son in law tried all sorts to try to improve it but to no avail. As we left got a call to say as we drove away all WiFi returned to normal!
So got my thoughts working and the only thing that came to mind eventually was my rear view camera, which is a wireless one and must have been interfering with the WiFi signal.
Next time we go I will try to prove this is what interfered with their WiFi.
Has anyone else found this?

Could be you are both operating on the same WiFi Bands.

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
Even he had his wifi on in the MH ( I doubt that ) it would not cause interference as many wifi routers are on the same channel. As son in law tried ( no doubt by changing channels ) I still think it is his solar panel and or regulator.

All this stuff (& much more besides) operates in the ISM band. Specifically in the 2.4GHz part. If you research what may be using these frequencies in your local area you might be surprised that Wi-Fi works at all.

It could also be your solar panel giving off RF or the controller.

Had the same solar for years John and the same rear view camera but this is only recent. We always park in the same spot that what is confusing me as to the cause.

Keith, I stumped then as the "RF" from solar panels can effect some things. Oh well you have some digging to do.....
