More than toes wet now!
Being a regular user of Garmin BaseCamp (under Windows 7) to plan routes for our travels and to upload these to our Garmin Sat Navs a question to those Funsters who have recently "upgraded" to Windows 10.

I understand from the Microsoft press releases, online reviews, Funster feedback, etc that Window Media Player has been dumped as part of this OS upgrade. Looking at the system requirements for Garmin BaseCamp it clearly states that Windows Media Player is a prerequisite so is it compatible with Windows 10?

Any Funsters using BaseCamp under Windows 10 and views on this?

Ta much.

Thanks guys.
Just realised, it's a senior moment. It's Media Centre that's missing from Win 10!
Don't worry I'll keep taking the tablets and endeavour not to wake you early on a Sunday morning again!

I have never used anything but Garmin so find it very easy to use. I did once try to use the Tom tom thing at work. What a load of rubbish. I have never used anything less user friendly. Basecamp, stick with it. It will get very easy to use.

Must admit I find BaseCamp a bit of a dawdle to use now however it was less than intuitive to start with.
Eddie (@Judgemental) posted a useful video in another thread on similar subject. Not quite the way I do it but ..........
