A recent report tells of losses for the NFU of £685 million.

New Chief Exceutive Lindsey Sinclair promiseses £170 million in discounts to be paid to policy holders on renwing next year.

Chief Executive Ian Geden rteired at age 60 with a pension of £302,086 a year.

No idea but you highlight the excesses of the UK. Farmers who can't feed their cattle and the boss pocketing £300K pa after losses of £600M - I wonder what his wages were :-(

At least being farm based, snout in trough is quite appropriate.

This is the NFU Mutual Insurance Co. Many MH's are insured with them so I thought it may be of interest to members.

Each renewal you get a potion of the profits that reduces the premium. I have insured our van with them for some years.

I beleive it started out as the National Farmers Union but is now known more as an insurance company.
