The C&CC site at Jedburgh (non-members welcome). Great site, great town to visit and the site is just a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the river banks (proper path) from the town.

Agree with Jedburgh site, Edinburgh and Jedburgh woollen mills across the road. Melrose great but busy especially weekend.

True, I lost SWMBO in there for a couple of hours, there is also a VERY good camping supplies shop adjacent to the site.

There's a Caravan Club 5 van CL between Kelso & Melrose at Craighouse quarry. It's fairly new, but there is nothing around it though if you are looking for shops etc.
