Motorway tolls Spain (1 Viewer)

About to cross from France. To Spain. Going to use the motorway at times just need some info on the class charged for motorway. France is class 2 but our MH shows class 4 at the auto tolls and we press for assistance and it is changed. Need any info on Spanish system

Spanish tolls are cheaper than french ones

The ones we have used are not very expensive but not used many we were using an Autotrail tracker high line 3850kg at the time.

They class motorhomes the same as cars, class 1 or tourist so not too expensive compared to France or Portugal

It seems to be completely random what they charge you. We were charged as Class 4 on one bit and they wouldn't budge when I said we were class 2 everywhere else. Rates also vary.

Made a mistake last week and ended up on a Spanish toll road...

"Class 6" said the (very attractive) girl in the booth...

a lot cheaper! as are Italy's! not worth avoiding.....

but I know nothing re class 4

Lived in Spain for 4 years now and never used a toll road yet same as many Spanish people do. Why the other roads are just fine and what is the rush in a MH anyway............

The only one we have used is one coming down from Perpignan and Med highway to avoid Costa del sol.
