Went into the Three shop today asking when the new Note 5 would be available as it was launched in the US this week. I was told that Samsung have no intention of selling it in the UK. Anyone else aware of this?

You can get them imports from the US but are they compatible with the three network.
Why do you think it is that Samsung will not be selling them through uk outlets.

Better off importing one from the far east, as they use the same 4G protocols as us
Be aware the Note 5 doesn't have a replaceable battery or memory card slot

It isn't just the UK, the Note 5 will not be released anywhere in Europe. That was made clear in Samsung's announcement as reported by the BBC 11 days ago.

If you import you may have to return it from whence it came for any warranty related issues, Samsung UK may not be able to assist with non-UK model??
