• For customers travelling today via our UK Terminal
  Our passenger service is currently operating with some timetable disruption, this is due to an earlier incident on the Tunnel which has now been resolved. There is a waiting time of approximately 60 minutes before check in and 3 hours on the terminal. We regret that we are currently unable to sell tickets to non reserved customers.
  We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this will cause to your journey.
  For customers travelling today via our French Terminal
  Our passenger service is currently operating with some timetable disruption, this is due to A National Freight Train stopped in the tunnel. There is a waiting time of approximately 30 minutes before check in and 2 hours on the terminal.
  We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this will cause to your journey.

As security tightened up at Calais. They are attempting to get on freight trains at another depo further away that is not as secure...

Nope it ain't just got on the train now after 4 hour delay. The euro tunnel is now pot luck as far as I can see at the munute

We sat on the train on Tuesday coming home for an hour....due to power supply issue on UK side. Yes its pot luck these days

We're next going through on the evening of the 11th Sept. Being positive though as it's more often working correctly (ish) than not. We've never had a problem .. other than no aircon on a carriage.

Yeah been there done that now that is stressful then get treated like bloody sheep.
Sitting in my lovely motorhome at Dover or Calais nah thats not stress.

we are going on the 7th as well. Early train, about 07.00 I think. Hope it is reasonably on time although it won't matter too much if there is a short delay as we can just brew up. Happy travels to all. We may see one or two of you around.

Where are the September people going.?we're zig zagging down via le mans and la Rochelle across to limoges (park verger) and then in into the vezere valley for a few days before over towards vichy and back up north over the next week or so

Not really got much of a plan. We have to be in Servoz near Chamonix for our son's wedding on the 12th but after that who knows. we will be coming back around the end of October. Then away again in January. It's a hard life but we struggle on.

Driving through UK,France,Belgium,Germany,Austria,Hungary and final destination is Transylvannia region of Romania ( Wife is from there ).............Really looking forward to this trip!

We went through on Thursday, no problems whatsoever, didn't sight any immigrants, it's the luck of the draw, had about half hold up on the N154 near Orleans, now in Millau till Sunday then moving on.

Down to alpes de provence...hubby plans to cycle up mont ventoux( very ambitious) on the way to aix en provence....then... who knows!
Perhaps we will spot some fun stickers.

Tipping our toes in France then into Switzerland then onto Italy and may even pop over to Slovenia to vist Lake Bled but who knows we could end up anywhere but the places mentioned - its freedom of choice !
