What they tell me is how poorly worded the highway code is and the lack of specific laws like they have in France on the space to be given to a cyclist when overtaken.

As a result you will now get umpteen pages of anti-cycling moans from drivers who don't know any better! :)

Which is why I've given up cycling in the UK. :(. Nothing will change until the law does and the police enforced the new laws. Neither of which is going to happen.

Were all delayed  I've never been 'Delayed' by a cyclist in my life, well at least no more than traffic jams, pedestrian crossings, road conditions, etc, etc, etc...

Never mind cyclists, (not literally).
I,m fed up of idiot overtakers whilst driving my car or van.
Blind bends
Brow of hills
Hidden dips
Oncoming traffic.
I spend more time nowadays watching what other drivers are doing.
ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.

Great stuff (y) mainly logic and common courtesy, and a bit like preaching to the converted for most drivers. I'm now waiting in anticipation for a similar video for educating cyclists by a cyclist:)

Why do French drivers follow you for miles on a straight road then decide to overtake when you get to a bend, serious question this, I've noticed it dozens of times(n)
