I'm a Newbie
Acquired a new (to us) motorhome last week. It's a Burstner i690 Elegance A Class (2004). We are based in Sussex and planning to take it to France in September for our first trip. Have joined the ACSI Camping card and downloaded the App. Any advice experienced motorhomers care to impart would be gratefully received. Looking forward to browsing the forum.

Hi Peter. You don't say if you are new to motorhoming so not sure if you are familiar with staying on 'aires' in France. If not then do get hold of the 'All the Aires' book(s) from Vicarious Books and have a read. In general they are good value and safe and many are in great locations! For example we love the aire at La Mailleraye sur Seine - have a look at the images here - http://www.campercontact.com/en/fra...48/motorhome-parking-aire-de-camping-car.aspx

Hi Peter from just up the road in Eastbourne.
Its best to post specific questions rather than ask for general advice :)
Mind you, you will have to fork out a tenner if you have more than 5 questions ;)
It will be the best tenner you will spend on the internet..........................probably
Welcome to the madhouse :welc:

or purchase the CamperContact app for a few pounds, download the country map before you go and you can find all aires and other sites in the vicinity in which you're travelling. The app gives all details of each aire/site - location, price etc - and often photos too. Great value.
