After BT's totally unacceptable behaviour, I'm thinking of changing to UW. It is quite a lot slower but unlimited usage @ £7.99 looks good plus phone tariffs are cheaper than BT.

Does anyone have any experience of UW?

I had UW in 2008 for about 6 months ( then returned to France) OK. Friend has had UW for about 2 -3 years and is satisfied with them.
I'm with Plusnet as I get inclusive calls. I pay less than £25 a month for all UK calls, line rental and Internet. UK freephone number and you always speak to someone in Yorkshire.

darnit - as usual we are outside of their core network so service would be provided via BT at £16.99 a month! as opposed to £7.99

I've heard some very bad things about Utility Warehouse
Plusnet has very good customer satisfaction levels - shame they don't offer a service where we live

I recommended Plysnet to friend who also returned to UK from France. They connected her very quickly and she's pleased with the service. I should have hot her to give my details as I'd have got a small discount for recommending :(
