Winter Tyres and Wheeles x 6 (1 Viewer)

These came with our recently purchased Motorhome and are surplus to requirements.

Vedestein Comtrac Winter Tyres. 215/75 R16 113/11R M&S

The date info reads Dot DVYL 2509, which I think means made in May 2009.

There is virtually no wear on them and the side walls look good. The dealer told us that the previous owners did not use the van in the Winter but it is the law to have winter tyres in German so they and to have them.

I need these gone as soon as possible and will accept a fair offer. We cannot bring them to a rally, as our garage will already be full of stuff we are taking for others to Malvern and Wrenbury. You would need to be able to pick these up from South Leicestshire.

I'll think you will find that 2509 means that they were made in the 25th week of 2009. Don't know how much luck you'll have selling them as they are over 6 years old. I've just changed and uprated mine as they were coming up to 5 years old from manufacturer date, even though the camper is only just over 4 years old.

Well at least I got the 2009 bit right. I am not looking for much for them, I know they are 6 years old but they might do someone for a bit, or even if they wanted the wheels to allow them to keep a set of summer and a set of winter wheels set up with tyres.

You might do better trying to sell individually, as a lot of campers are now supplied with no spare at all. Just put one on thief bay, quantity x 6

Hi, what is the PCD of the wheel rims please, 5x118 bore 71.1 or 5x130 bore 79.1? I have just bought 5 x 16" wheels but wrong PCD and need the 5x118 rims. If your are 5x118 please PM me I'd be very interested.

I think you will find that all 16 rims are 130 pcd, as I did a lot of searching for 118 pcd 16 inch wheels. Rarer than a virgin in Doncaster

I agree with you there, schoolboy error at time of buying on my part, just took the 'fits Ducato, Peugeot n Citroen" as gospel. Picked up in Bournmouth on way home from Spain and don't fancy trapesing all the way back. I'll just sell them on if I can't get the correct rims. Or look into the engineered PCD adapters. Doncaster eh? 5 minutes from me ;-)

Unfortunately these wheels are not the right size for Wickolad and are still up for grabs.

Yes if anyone might need winter wheels it's you. I am afraid there isn't anyway we can get them up to you, unless you arrange a courier, who is willing to man- handle them, as I cannot due to a poorly back.

Very sorry, the wheels have now been sold. A friend wanted them and they are the right size for his van, he will be collecting them soon which is a relief as our pitch at this campsite looks like a dealers yard, what with two motorhomes and all these wheels, campsite owners being very tolerant.
