Class 4 as a car but be careful as often they dont have facilities for anything bigger than a car.
Just had my RV MOTd and no one within 20 miles could do it.

Yes.. good point @Larrynwin

look for a council site.. they do all the council wagons and will do your motorhome.. I used them when I had George.

They generally don't do repairs, so there's no vested interest to fail you in the hope you'll spend. Thousands report a huge difference.

check here for nearest council MOT site http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-mot

done it for you

I have to take mine to a place in Diss, some 17 miles from us.. It is a coach repair place called Simmonds
Having said that, I have rarely found a more honest, helpful bunch of folk working in the automotive trade !
They did the clutch in the Miller.. Quoted me a price.. went to collect it a couple of days later and was greted with the .. sorry sir, the quote was a bit out..

It was a lot easier job than expected and was £130 less.

Hi Mo,

It is best to find an MOT station with pits rather than hoists, as hoists tend to lift a max of 3.5T only, and more often than not, the premises doesn't have the head height for the MH, even at the entrance.

As mentioned, a Council Depot Vehicle Workshop, or an HGV/PSV testing station would be best. :)

Fortunately, my local car testing station has a pit, and an entrance tall enough. :)

Good luck (y)

Jock. :)

I get mine done in Barnstaple Mo, I know that's no good to you. But he has a ramp I can get on and the height. Nice to get it on a ramp so you can have a proper look at it underneath.
