Guinea pig for what? Iv had normal batteries for three years , no problem.

Don't understand, what's special about it, it's just a normal battery as far as I can see.

Just a normal 12v 100ah starter battery but with 4 year warranty and free delivery. For £60. Maybe what someone wants.

I personally use two 150ah (wet cell) 12v batteries been 3 years still going strong. But am looking into lipo’s.

We have two 85s tractor battery's bought three years ago £35 each , no solar very rare hookup but travel most days , never been any where near out of power.

With some of the large inverters being fitted these days batteries such as 'starter types' are more suited to the high load short time requirments that things like microwaves require. A good way to shorted the life of a good leasure battery is to overload it.

Leisure battery life is determined by cycles. Never let a leisure battery discharge more than 50% ideally 80%. Even so they will eventually die. It's always a good thing to ask how many cycles the battery is rated at. If the seller does not know walk away.
The two best leisure batteries on the market by far are Banner and Vatra.
