It is a pre installed connection box . There is an aerial lead and a 12Volt socket but I don't know what this box does. I kinda suspect the connections may be to take audio from a TV to the speakers fitted around the van but that is purely a guess ....

Thanks but could you explain a bit more ??
often you see these rca component sockets near the vans tv point. what they do is when the correct cable is used (between tv and socket), you can play the tv audio through cab radio on aux mode. more sophisticated ones are linked to an in dash dvd player

So will using a cable mean the sound from a TV will go through the speakers that are installed around the van ?
The cab radio/HiFi plays through the front cab speakers and the speakers installed in the habitation area in the van.

Not very good with things electric or technical ...

Thanks for the help !

More than toes wet now!
Don't think that's all it's for as the unit also includes a video channel.

Does your mh in-dash radio \ media player have the functionality to play dvds? If so, it may be a feed from there that you connect to appropriate sockets on the back of your tv to watch dvds playing on the head unit.
