Good plan! You will save a fortune on lighting the van after dark. However, don't expect to finish that bed time book for a while.Mrs froghopper has a thing about camping g on a car park or very near to lighthouses

Surely Mrs Nearly Everybody's preference for sleep in the face of such a thing is well documented. Are we after the watershed now? Because I have to point out that Mrs Froghopper's wish to go to sleep close to a large vertical erection is very healthy and to be applauded.
Try Stoer, near Lochinver on the NW coast. Also Rua Reidh near Gairloch, but the access road might be tricky for a longer van.

Many, many years ago I attended an interview to be the first Director, strangest interview I have ever attended with half the council asking inappropriate questions whilst the HR manager squirmed. If on the east coast the lighthouse museum is very worthwhile, it has parking for MHs and you can get a tour up the lighthouse itself which I recommend.

The road to Ardnamurchen is single track with passing places but well worth the effort. Midge central in that area of course!
And if you are in the area not very far away are the singing sands of Kentra Bay. A bit of a walk but worth it.

And this is a very nice site - but zero local facilities but you should be able to hear the Eider calling on the loch.
