Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some help please.
I'm off to Nottingham university for a couple of days training and thought I'd take the RV. The uni will let me park but won't allow me to sleep in it which is useless. Any suggestions of where anyone else has stayed. Would prefer to wild camp but if any sites recommended they would need to be within walking or cycling distance of the campus.

Thought they might be. I looked on google maps and they are both at least 6 miles. I don't mind cycling but I'm doing a Nordic walking training course which runs from 9-5.30 with lots of exercise so the extra might just see me off!

We stayed at Thorntons halt a few times when our daughter was at notts trent, sorry never looked for any wild spots. I believe the trams have now been extended to the uni, so that may make it easier for you.
We did stay at Red hill marina which is a short walk to Notts parkway rail station, take your bike and get off at Beeston and then its a short ride to the uni.

Try moss farm Hucknall
10 minutes from the tram which drops you right outside the uni
