It used to be the collapsing bucket, but not anymore. For a few years now we've been using the versatile flexi trugs and now wouldn't leave home without at least 3 in the locker. They are just so handy. And the bonus is 3 take up no more space than 1 and they can pack down small, are robust and can be crushed into full lockers. So what do we use them for.

  • They are a great watering can. With the handles together you have a small pouring spout.
  • They an be used to take dirty crockery to the wash up
  • Laundry to the laundry room
  • They can be used to wash up
  • For washing the van
  • Soaking your feet
  • Washing fruit and veg
  • Washing clothes in one, rinsing in the other
  • Half filled with water and a bag of ice they are a great beer cooler
  • Cooling down hot pets
I'm sure there are even more uses. Go and put a couple in the van today :)

My most useful thing in the garage of the van is a rugby ball.

I often go out for a throw around with the kids when its time to do the washing up(y)

We dump shoes/crocs/boots in one, as well as some of earlier uses, storing in dinette when only two if us, and between front seats when grandchildren aboard.

Equestrian/country store. They stock loads of different sizes - I even have a teeny-tiny one which is no more than about 3" across the base!

I use them all the time at home too for gardening, washing basket, watering, car washing... you name it - brilliant invention :)
