I know there is an Android app to help find the nearest TV transmitter, but is there an equivalent one for those of us on Apple?

Notice there are mixed reviews for the App - have you actually used it? Mind you at just £2.29 I'm happy to take a punt on it.

before we had such 'useful devices' the Mk1 Eyeball did the job perfectly.. ie.. we looked at where the aerials on the local houses were pointing ..

If there are no local houses, you are probably outside the transmitter range ..
