Handcrafted alloy plates , loving crafted in my man cave ( shed ) using traditional tools ie Hacksaw , Drill , and Files ...

just wind out your awning drop the leg and slip these over the foot and peg the plate down ,
At night you can put the awning away and leave the plates pegged down ready for the next day ,
we used them regulaly in Spain and Morocco, great for the sudden gusts of wind , :coolest:
pm me for more info
Graham
Only £10 a pair ( can be posted £2 )

Good idea (y)

Not your idea, a copy of the ones I designed and sell. We have ours laser cut so that there are no nicks or defects to cause failure over time. Ours are larger and we have fully tested them to find the best dimensions of the slot the plate and thickness of metal for durability and weight. We have sold these for 2 years with no problems. We sell them to fit fiamma and omnistore motorhome awnings and fiamma caravanstore. Broken Link Removed

We sell them at all shows and can mail them out, We give a Funsters discount. So they are £15.00 a pair to Funsters.

I used the ones from Peggy Pegs for a couple of years. cheap, light, strong and easy to leave the plate in place when you put the awning away at night or if it's windy. Then, putting it out again is quick as you just secure the feet of the awning leg in place. Only a tenner too. http://www.riverswayleisure.co.uk/p...r-plate.html?gclid=CJOaiLywlsYCFUzKtAod50gDAA

They are a bit fancy Jim ☺ ...

Almost makes mine a bit man cave
But as long as they work

I used the ones from Peggy Pegs

Now that's a Proper Job well thought out design.

Not that the others won't work but "click click" and lift your leg, that's slick.

You could reduce that by an inch all round and it would still do the same job

Simple design isn't it and good bit of kit, not to pricey if you don't want to go to the trouble of making them yourself .

We also do them for the caravanstore awning. This has a different sized slot and is probably the most likely awning to take off as it only has one peg hole per leg.
