Becoming uncontainably excited. This time next week Jumbo will be fully packed and in the hubby's work car park at Tewkesbury and I'll have a few hours left in work fore meeting him in Bristol Parkway via train. Lots of thunderstorms this week apparently in France ? Whatever the weather, can't wait.

Heading straight from the chunnel at 0100 local time down towards Orange. Looking forward to using our sanef tag, don't usually use tolls a lot, but as we want max time on Cote d'azur, (making use of the ACSI dates), shld make journey in the dark quicker and easier.

Happy camping to all the rest of you already down there. Still not got around to SAE for funster sticker, must do that this evening !!!!

Will only use aires on the way back up, be using ACSI sites, got a few earmarked, pools, loungers etc as it's a chilling and exploration hol. Be using public transport while we're near Antibes too and the bikes :)

Yes that's what we did, but not really us, don't like campsites, but you just have to. If you do go to menton their is an old customs post on the Italian border where you can park for free right beside the sea.
The towns themselves are very mh unfriendly as well , signs everywhere banning them

For us depends what hol we're on. If we're mostly kayaking, exploring etc, we use a lot of aires. However, we both have very very busy jobs so part of the hol is chilling in our own space on loungers or by the pool, for that, campsites are fantastic. Usually use ACSI sites, but we don't mind paying if we have too, it's hols after all :)
