Hi folks we're looking at buying a 12v fan and wondered why the fan- tastic fan is around£75 compared to others at a lot less, what is the difference and which would you recommend ? Thanks in advance Kevin.

I think this is similar to the "Endless breeze" fan that I got in the USA a few years ago - it was USD45....... However the above quoted price looks about right for UK.

Pricing apart, it is a really good bit of kit - three way power with built in rechargeable, fitted D size batteries and of course 12V plug in. Very quiet in operation; a good piece of kit but not for £75

Sorry, nothing like the endless breeze which is free standing and portable.
the fan-tastic vent is a roof mounted 12v only fan

Sorry to interrupt your post but there is a mechanical ceiling fan in the new van i have on order. Am i right in saying that as well as extracting they also blow air into the van? I beleive it is situated over the kitchen / dinette area.

The one in ours (majestic 155) does both Dave, but we still want a portable one just in case.

Are the ceiling fans or free standing fans noisy?

We had a Fantastic Fan fitted in our RV from new, it's ceiling mounted, variable speed and thermostatically controlled , not too noisy , a useful extractor.

Fan-tastic is a 12v 3 speed reversible ceiling fan.
depending on model they are reversible and thermostatic, except models 1200 and 1250, and have a rain sensor to auto-close the outer cover if it rains, except 1200, 1250 and 2250.

Its all here....... Broken Link Removed
