Help- Printing Mhf Sign For Van. (1 Viewer)

I have been instructed to make a new MHF sign for our van window as ours is "tatty"..
Found the name badge download and got that.. BUT there is no text box to enter our forum name..
I am sure in the past you just went to the blank section, typed and printed...
On my open office version of word I cant even find anywhere to create a text box, maybe because this download is in the form of a graphic ??

Is it me ??? any help please

Just tested and it downloaded with the name box for putting your name.. do you have the correct link ..?

Have you seen my hand writing ! If you had then you would know why it needs to be printed..
This is very important, Irene is on a mission and wants a new sign (god knows why)...

It's a docx file which is Word. Something similar happens when you open it in Pages on a Mac as well. The text box is there but appears on a different page. It doesn't seem to want to sit over the image.

It must be something to do with how other word processors interpret docx formatting.

Dont ask me how but I clicked something and got a txt box maker and did it that way..
Think the grandkids have been on and closed stuff down that I know is usually there..

You can see my new sign at the soul meet and Stratford..

For ref, when opened I never got that bit that says "insert name here"..

Bored at work and just been playing round with it. Has a Fun pitch marker ever been suggested?

Thats what I have found out...
As a "retiree" I dont dabble so much with these programs now, think all the knowledge has drained out..
Anyway.. All done, printed and laminated..
Next challenge - make own tea as wife is out..

You're going to need something that will let you open and edit Word documents. I suppose Word would be as good as anything.

Pages will work better on an iPad but it doesn't like docx files so Word is probably better for this.

Edit it then print however you normally do.

Easy, go to the link, enter your name, expand it to full screen size and the stick your iPad in the window!
It will mean you will be able to find your van in dark (until the battery goes flat).
