Hi does anyone know what these vent things are called, it's where our hot air comes out to heat the van, trying to find them online to replace one as Boston stuck her paw in it and the flap part broke off!

Thanks you

On and off for many years.
Or even an air outlet with flap valve.

Looks like they are easy enough to find and not too expensive.

Brilliant, they look like the thing, will get one ordered and sent to my parents.
MH company said £40 thought was a bit steep for a bit of plastic.

Thank you :)

This might help :) It's a blown air outlet.

Our Grandson parks his toy cars in ours if we don't watch him like hawks.
Brill thanks. I'm not sure what Boston was expecting to find in it :)

Are you sure it's actually broken and hasn't just come out as they are only held in by a small spring I believe.

I think it's the spring that we have lost, got the flap and when compared to other one it's missing a bit of metal. As they seem to be cheap enough will get another and couple of spares as well.

I emailed same pic and said Boston had put her paw in and the flap had come off, maybe they think it's a bigger job, Nige took it off and it just screws back on again, the pipe is still in position with a plastic thing with a thread, to us looks like a simple swap of the front part. :)

Can't remember ;)
When we fit them we always pull one of the vent flaps off --that way you always have one open to allow heat out so the heater does not overheat ---They simply screw off from the back -pull out pipe -change it for one that you always can leave open

Trouble with them is, they aren't directional - and it depends where you need the heat, doesn't it? LOL
If there the ones like ours you twist the whole thing around . So it blows up , down or from one side to the other.

That's for the OP to decide if they are suitable, I just gave an alternative to the flap ones - at least the dog wouldn't be able to get his paw in them!

Generally if use the heating it's to dry the dogs so floor direction fine with us. Will do further checking on return to UK. Now I've seen what's out there fancy some chrome one :)
