This is "as bought" in 2011 and the picture is often referred to as the one where my lovely wife Andrea is counting the cost!
We spent years researching before we bought our first motorhome and it remains the perfect (for us) layout. I'm a bit of a tinkerer (not the Techno100 standard, mind) and have carried out many modifications, improvements and repairs. We have travelled to France, Spain, Portugal and Italy and are still to complete our circumnavigation of the UK.
Is now reregistered JJY 567 and has Smiley stickers, if anyone sees us stop or a chat. Quite often spotted in the paddock (or as near as we can get) as we support a classic Super Tourer, it's a red Nissan Primera if anyone remembers the late 90s BTCC racing.
Hope we meet up sometime

Wow! I am always very surprised at the interest these cars attract from both youngsters who seem very knowledgeable and those who remember the actual racing. Most seem to remember the stir Matt Neal caused by eating the factory teams in his red Nissan and winning a huge (in those days) prize fund. Donnington Historic Festival, Brands Hatch Masters Historic, Silverstone Classic and Rockingham BTCC meetings this year.

So is this the currently owned car of Dave Jarman ?

Yes it is. Dave and I have been friends since our teens and started our apprenticeships at the same company. We both had MGBs in our early twenties, Dave's a tuned B series and mine a V8. I've still got mine but Dave went the Datsun route with a Samurai which was his stepfathers. I supported him in the Formula Saloon days where the Nissan travelled in a converted horsebox with a (precarious) extended tail lift. It's quite something to turn up in a shabby old lorry and beat the big boys working from their custom artic lorries with hordes of liveried mechanics. Not much better now, Dave tows with his Chausson Allegro but we don't do so well these days with the arrival of the "professionals". I like to think we are the best of the rest!

We just purchased a 2007 Globebus 3..... Love the layout as we have had big tag axle vans but wanted to go smaller as only the two of us now....... The only drawback to the van is everything is mono wood veneer .... I took inspiration from all the new van out there2017/18 models of Top end & A class & used my years of experience go Kitchen?Bathroom fitting to do a revamp on our unit.... Saved £1000's on getting a fresh up to date look
