I'm staying at the Caravan Club site at Grin Low, Buxton at the end of June. Can anyone recommend a good pub or restaurant in the area?

In Buxton town itself, there are several good places - we like the Old Hall Hotel which has a good restuarant. Also the Pavilions two restaurants and tea rooms serve reasonable food and there is usually quite a bit going on in the gardens, plus the baths, conservatory and Pavilion hall itself (home to many antique fairs, book fests etc etc) are very close by. Motorhome can be parked in the car park roof top area adjoining the baths AFAIK - not aware of restrictions there.
Great little town, love visiting there :thumb:

Hi we stayed at Blackshaw moor CC site just down the road from grin Low, theirs a pub/hotel a couple hundreds yards from the entrance in the direction of Leek, don't bother going there, very average.
