Powered by a 12-litre Rolls-Royce diesel engine and with a top speed of 80mph, the bus has done fewer than 14,000 miles.

Going for £25,000, the 18-tonne, bombproof vehicle is being sold by current owner, military vehicle dealer Nick Mead.

Being a Thatcher mobile, I thought it would have some historical value.. perhaps a museum piece..

seems a shame it may be sold and turned into a burger van :(

or maybe that is karma..
