Days out. (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if anyone else takes their van out for day trips?
We love going away for days and weeks on end but have just as much fun taking Elle out to places of interest for the day.
Tomorrow we are taking some friends out to Clevedon and Portishead. Clevedon has a lovely old pier and Portishead has a brand new marina which is worth walking around. The trip from home is scenic and the weather looks set fair for a fine day.

We tried to take Addie out for day trips at least once every 1/2 weeks through the winter to charge up the battery etc.

Had a lovely day down at West Wittering yesterday, walked round East Head Spit in the hot sun, blue sky with hardly any clouds, boats sailing and loads of skylarks singing their little hearts out - as we said what could be more perfick!

As newbies, wondering how easy it is going to be to park by the coast in the summer. Not many car parks down the south seem to be geared up for MoHos. Addie straddles four ordinary car spaces and round here car parks are small, very few places we can get in to locally.

Four spaces!!! That's a bus you've got! Ellie is just over 6 mtrs so fits in most places provided there is no height restriction. You are right about not being MoHo friendly though. We park up at NT car parks, being members the parking is free.

Was a newbie, now a Middie.
We went to Wigan Pier. It was quite foggy. I told the wife it went out to sea for over a mile. She set off. That was yesterday. :sneaky::sneaky: I made my own tea. (y)
